The City of Pacific Engineering Department provides many services, including:

Preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Contract Management for Public Works Construction Projects; and

Engineering Consultant Management Services.
Our goal is to provide services that help create a safe infrastructure system: drainage, potable water, streets, and wastewater collection and conveyance. The department strives to provide timely and accurate service to citizens, contractors, and developers.

Construction Site Stormwater
All construction projects in the City of Pacific larger than one acre require a Department of Ecology National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. Applications are available at: http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/wq/stormwater/construction/.
Construction in the Right of Way
All construction projects in City of Pacific rights-of-way require traffic control plans meeting the requirements of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The MUTCD is available at: http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/.
